Shipping options, rates, and policies

We’re thrilled to help you enjoy our refreshingly unconventional wines at home or send a loved one the gift of Sweet Cheeks Wine. We can ship your favorite wines to most areas of the United States.

Please review the below information carefully to ensure your wine shipment arrives safely and in prime condition.

Shipping options and times

Sweet Cheeks Winery ships via both UPS and FedEx, with multiple options for delivery time. Select your preferred shipping method when you check out online.

All orders will be shipped within one to three business days unless otherwise requested by you. Please note that Saturday and Sunday do not count as business days. Delivery time depends on the shipping option you select at checkout.

You will receive a tracking number once your shipping label is printed by Sweet Cheeks Winery. Contact us at info@sweetcheekswinery.com if you do not receive a tracking number within three business days of placing your order.

Where we ship

Sweet Cheeks Winery ships to the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Washington.

If your state’s not listed above, please contact our general manager, Jessica Thomas, at jessica@sweetcheekswinery.com and we’ll let you know if shipping to your desired state becomes available in the future.

Sweet Cheeks Winery abides by all laws and regulations outlined per state, including shipping limitations and volume restrictions. We are unable to ship wines outside of the United States.

Age restrictions

Age verification when ordering

Sweet Cheeks Winery only sells and ships wines to those 21 years of age and older. To place an order, you must provide your date of birth (and the recipient's date of birth if sending a gift). By placing an order with Sweet Cheeks Winery, you certify under the penalty of perjury that you are and the recipient are at least 21 years of age.

Age verification upon delivery

By law, wine cannot be delivered without the signature of a person 21 years or older. Notes to the carrier to leave your package without a signature will not be accepted. Due to the signature requirement, orders cannot be delivered to P.O. boxes.

Shipping and delivery logistics

  • Once FedEx or UPS has picked up your order, Sweet Cheeks Winery is no longer responsible for managing shipping or delivery changes. You must manage all orders through FedEx Delivery Manager or UPS My Choice, or by contacting the carrier directly. Please note there is a $20 fee if any changes to your shipping address cannot be arranged by you with the carrier. This is the standard fee that FedEx and UPS charge us for making this change on your behalf.

  • Wine is a perishable commodity and does not like hot, humid summer temperatures or freezing cold winter temperatures. Sweet Cheeks Winery is not responsible for and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. Once UPS or FedEx picks up a shipment, the wine becomes the purchaser's responsibility.

  • Both FedEx and UPS will attempt your delivery three times. After the third failed attempt, your wines will be returned to Sweet Cheeks Winery. If you request the wines be sent out again, applicable shipping and/or sales tax will be charged.

  • We cannot guarantee the condition of your wine if delivery is not successful on the first attempt by FedEx or UPS.

Return policy

All sales are final. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the wine is flawed or corked. We are also unable to accept the return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment or wine that is ordered in error.

Returning flawed or corked wine

We will replace or refund any bottle of wine that is corked or flawed. Contact us at info@sweetcheekswinery.com within one week of receiving your shipment to arrange for the return of corked or flawed wines.

We ask that you return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. Once the wine is received, we will refund the cost of the wine, less shipping and any applicable sales tax, to the credit or debit card you used when you placed your order. If the original shipment is proven to be flawed by our winemaker or damaged by the carrier, you will receive a full refund, including shipping and applicable sales tax.

Wine club shipments

Club shipment dates

Sweet Cheeks Winery club members receive wines on a schedule based on club type.

You will receive a release email no later than two weeks prior to the date that your card on file will be charged. Within this email, you will be informed of the date your wine will ship. Please contact us by the date specified in the release email if you need to update your address or would like us to hold your shipment until a specific date.

Club shipping rates and options

Sweet Cheeks Winery will ship your wine club release via FedEx Ground. Wine club members receive the following flat shipping rates for all releases:

  • Oregon shipping address: $5
  • Contiguous United States: $12
  • Alaska and Hawaii: $25

Club members receive $1 shipping on case (12 bottles) orders within the contiguous United States, regardless of release schedule. Please note this rate is subject to change; any changes will be communicated prior to shipment.

If you prefer to ship your releases via UPS Ground, please contact us prior to your release shipping date at wineclub@sweetcheekswinery.com.

Club shipping policies

All policies outlined on this page regarding shipping locations, age restrictions, returns, and shipping and delivery logistics apply to wine club shipments.

California Proposition 65

Proposition 65 (Prop 65) is a state ballot initiative intended to protect California citizens and the state’s drinking water sources from chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm and to inform citizens about exposures as such chemicals. Prop 65 entitles California consumers to warnings for the following products: Alcoholic Beverages, Including, Without Limitation, Beer, Malt, Beverages, Wine, and Distilled Spirits.
